Tell us about your homestay experience.

This was first time to Africa so I really wanted to experience local African life. I booked a hotel and thought what is the point in staying in hotel finding my feet. So I cancelled the hotel and booked a homestay. I was so happy with my decision. I felt a home away from my home. Wonderful life time experience. The host Asa, daughter Mishka and kids- Noora, Uzair and Abdul Qadir- no words to describe their support. Staying, chatting and dining with a local family together- Do you want to experience- Go local, go homestay saying goodbye to the kids

What did you do in Cape Town?

Cape Town got everything to suit your taste. Hiking table mountain, evening walk along dazzling beaches and wandering around city's night life were great. Out of city you can feel the wonderful beaches. On the way to cape point, I saw penguins in boulders beach and Sunday flee market in Muizenberg. If you are interested in photography, You must visit Cape Town as it will offer everything to suite your interest.

How was your experience with your host?

I felt a home away home. Asa has great hospitality. The home is located in District 6- a safe and a convenient location. You can walk to any major attractions in the city. I was able to taste the authentic african food here. They gave a lot of tips and advices regarding the places I wanted to visit and it saved me lots of time and money. I felt as Capetonian on those days.
