Husband and wife have hosted homestays for a number of years. We host English overseas homestay students. We have many English Schools only a few mins short walk.

Griffith University is only 3 stops on the Tram.
Gold Coast University Hospital is 4 stops on the Tram.
Gold Coast Private Hospital is 3 tram stops.
We have Australia Fair Shopping centre across the road and banks. The Broadbeach Parklands is a 5 min walk.
Surfers Paradise is only a short tram trip to Cavill Avenue.
Helensvile train station is 20 tram ride also Pacific fair shopping Centre is 20 mins which links up with the airports.
We live in a secure building with a variety of places to eat just outside the door.
This is a secure unit so NO visitors allowed.

About the Area
Southport is located north of Surfers Paradise. The bus stop are only 2 minutes walk and the new tram is a 2 min walk which will take you to the new Gold Coast Hospital and the University. Heading south the tram takes you right into Surfers paradise and the beach. Out side the door we have many trendy cafes and and Australia Fair is across the road which has many shops and a food hall. All of the banks are one min walk away. We have many English schools within a 2 min walk. For the young at heart The Broadwalk park is a 5 min walk away which has many BQ's and walking paths.

My stay with Lesley and her husband was fantastic! They are both very lovely hosts.
It's an amazing apartment that has a beautiful view, a cozy room (even with a desk for studying) and access to a great pool area.

A lovely peaceful homestay with a very clean organised home. Everything I needed was provided, and I had a bathroom to myself. Outstanding views from the 34th floor full height windows. A deck off the bedroom, with a TV provided. Lesley gave me a great breakfast that included muesli, coffee and toast. Lesley and her husband showed me around the building and how to get in and out. The 3 pools are exceptional, with 2 spa pools. Australia Fair is just over the road and Chinatown is a few steps away. Trams and buses are right there. I would definitely stay here again if I travel to the Gold Coast. Thank you for your hospitality!

Staying with Lesley was an absolute amazing time. The convenient location allows you to go to Surfers in less than 10 minutes, while you even have plenty of shops and restaurants around. The apartment itself is breathtaking, with stunning views and including access to a huge pool area. Lesley is a lovely host, that understands perfectly what her guests could need and always has an interesting story to tell! I enjoyed every single day of my stay and I'll definitely come back to the Gold Coast one day!

Lesley was a warm and Inviting host. She is very helpful with all information provided about the local areas. You only need to ask her and she will tell you and provide you with directions. Great room, clean and maintained at a very high standard. Perfect stay for everything I needed.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
