We are a caring, outgoing family and have shared our house for many years with international English language students. We love helping students enjoy their time in Perth by sharing our knowledge, teaching them about Australian culture and helping with English. Don’t worry if your English is not good. We are very patient and will help you.
Our home is situated on the river-front next to a park that runs directly to the Swan River. It’s an amazing lifestyle. You can take walks or jogs by the river and even walk to the city (about 25 minutes), which is only 2.9km away (so close). There are outdoor exercise machines at the river and walking paths. You can also enjoy eating your breakfast while sitting outside on the verandah taking in the magnificent view.

Our family is very friendly and we have two boys, 17 and 15, who are charming but a little shy. You can practice your English with the children and us at dinner time. We always eat dinner at the table as a family. Susan is a film and book reviewer and author. So, if you like movies we sometimes take students to the movies with us for Free or give them free movie tickets.

I stayed only one week with Susan and her family and little Ella. I felt very well and liked the accommodation they offer. I had a nice room with private toilet and bathroom. All is clean and very modern. The contact/conversation between me and Susan was easy going. She picked me up when I arrived Perth at the train station, i ve got dinner, if I wanted to have, and the house ist close to town. It is a good place to be fast in the city. I can recommend Susan's homestay.
Hi guys, I can really recommend staying with the Randazzos. :) You have a very big room, your own bathroom and a TV next to your room. Besides, you have the possibility to watch films in the home cinema of the Randazzos! There is also a balcony next to your room where you can enjoy the good weather. :)
The house is very clean and close to the city, too. You can just take a free bus which comes every 8 minutes. Furthermore, the view of the Randazzos` house is so beautiful! They live near to the Football Stadium of Perth and the Gloucester Park. The latter is the perfect place for jogging or other sports. And there actually is a small outdoor gym area which you can use for free! Additionally, it will only take you 15 minutes by feet to go to Heirisson Island which is an island where you can see wild kangaroos! :)
Susan and Franco are very chatty and open-minded which is good to improve your English. Susan is a film reviewer and took me to several premiers for free, for example to Fantastic Beasts and Jack Reacher. The food is always fantastic and healthy, especially Franco cooks very good Italian food (the selfmade herb bread makes addicted). Finally, I can say that the Randazzos are a lovely family and I really enoyed my time with them. I will definitely come back when I am in Australia again! :)
The Randozzo's are a very outgoing, open-minded and friendly family. I have very much enjoyed staying with them over the past four weeks and appreciated all their help and advice. Every day, a delicious dinner was prepared which I could enjoy together with the family while having interesting conversations. Furthermore, the family lives in a lovely house with an awesome view down to the Swan River and close to the city centre. Yet, the neighbourhood is really calm and pleasant to live in with many cafes, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Throughout the past few years I've stayed with a couple of different hostfamilies and I have to say that the Randazzo's were/are by far the best among all. I felt at home right from the beginning.
Thanks a lot Randazzo family!
I stayed with Susan, Franco and their children for four weeks and they made me feel like I'm part of their family. The whole family is very friendly, helpful in whatever nees required and open minded.
The house is beautiful, room very cosy and warm, fantastic view plus next to a lovely park and the swan river!
I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this family!! :)
I look forward to staying with them again
