About the Homestay

We are a friendly, sociable family consisting of two professional adults, two university student children, two high school children with space for 2-4 students/travellers (2x double bedrooms).
We live 6Kms from CBD, short walk to tram and train. Our house is large 7 bedroom and easily accommodates everyone. This includes two bathrooms, three toilets, two lounge rooms and a study.
We eat dinner as a family and often have extra people for meals. We love to laugh, joke and all of us are very friendly.
Breakfast and Lunch are "help yourself", Internet is Wifi and all bills are included.
We respect diversity in all shapes and forms including sexuality, gender, race and religion etc. (all humans are equal).
Currently the homestay rooms available can accommodate one or two people, including bedding, desk and open fire (as well as centrally controlled hydronic heating).
We have a lovely indoor/outdoor lounge, kitchen and sitting room which opens out onto a deck and spa.
If you are looking for a homestay which is fun, friendly and respectful we may be what your looking for. You have a choice of being "one of the family" or keeping to yourself.
Preferably you should be able to communicate in English, have an open mind and a good sense of humour.
NOTE: despite the size of the family it is only noisy at meals times and games nights.

Meals

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
