We are a family of 4 (2 girls, age 11 & 7) that are friendly and loves hosting for overseas student that is looking for a place to stay for long term or as a first step to settle into Sydney. You have a room of your own that is fully furnished. It's very bright during the day with lots of natural sunlight. The premise is located 3 mins walk to the bus stop where you can get a direct bus to UNSW (15 - 20 mins bus) or to the city (around 35 to 40 mins).

There is also a supermarket (Woolworth - 5 mins walking) near by and lots of cafe and eatery outside (if you want a little something different during weekend).

You will be sharing the toilet with other family members. There's a large living area and a small backyard for you to relax. There's also unlimited internet included. Light breakfast (self served, 7 days) and dinner (only weeknight) are also included.

About the Area

The house is 3 mins walking to the nearest bus stop, where you can get a direct bus (20 mins) to UNSW and direct bus (35 mins) to the CBD. 5 mins walk to the nearest supermarket (Woolworth) and 10 mins walk to the Southpoint shopping centre. There's also lots of cafe and eatery within walking distance out in the main street.

5 mins drive to the nearest Malabar or Maroubra beach.

Inform us if you are not coming back for dinner, so that we can either save up dinner for your or no need to wait for you.

Respect others people and be cautious of noise at night - be gentle with opening and closing doors.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
