About the Area

Our house is located on the south side of the city in a quiet and safe suburb.

We are surrounded by parks and greenery that can easily be enjoyed in our outdoor patio area where you can sit at to study, read a book or enjoy your breakfast.

We are:
- 20km from the city centre (20-30 min drive, 1 hour via bus),
- 8.5-11.5km to the Griffith University Nathan & Mt Gravatt Campuses (15 min drive, 1 hour (Nathan) / 44 minutes (Mt Gravatt) via bus),
- 7km to Westfield Garden City Shopping Centre (11 min car drive, 28 minutes via bus),
- Woolworths Underwood Supermarket and food court/cafes (5 min car drive, 25 minutes walk),
- 28 km to the Brisbane Airport (30-40 min drive), and
- 50 min drive to the Gold Coast and Surfers Paradise (2 hours via public transport).

Public transport can be used to get to the above locations. The time ranges from between 15 minutes to 1.5 hours. The Kuraby train station is 20 minutes walk and the 554 bus stop is 10 minutes walk. Alternatively, Uber or taxi is available for longer distances.

To fully experience the Brisbane lifestyle and the great food and activities in the outer Brisbane suburbs we would highly recommend driving if you stay with us.

No visitors allowed. Please meet them at a public location.
Please keep noise minimal after 10.30 pm.
Never squat or stand on the toilet seat.
Never flush anything down the toilet except for toilet paper.
Always wash your hands with soap after using the toilet.
After use of toilet and bathroom, please keep it as clean as you found it.
When you use the kitchen please make sure that you leave the kitchen clean and tidy.

Smoking is not allowed.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
