We are an international couple from Poland and Colombia, with different interests ranging from sports, bushwalking, cooking, day trips to the beach, and find new activities to do around the city. We are very welcoming and we'll be able to provide advice about things to do or places to go. We also have a dog (American Staffy) he is very friendly with anyone staying t home.
Our house is a 2 level place, located in Fitzgibbon, close to public transport, nature walking/riding paths, near to shopping and restaurants and 10 minutes from Chermside shopping mall.
There are 3 rooms 1 bathroom (with toilet) and 1 extra toilet, one of the rooms is a study that can be used by anyone. The house also has a nice living room with a tv, dining table, and the kitchen with all the required utensils.
The room on offer is a private room with a queen bed, and it has plenty of space to store your clothes and bags, it has a study desk and a lamp, air-conditioned and a fan.
The house also has a medium-size backyard that is good to relax, read a book, or just to sleep in the hammock.

About the Area

Our house is located on the North side of the city in a quiet and safe suburb. We are close to the airport (15 min drive), and 30 mins to the city by car.
The bus stop is 5 minute walking from home, this stop has after hour routes during Friday and Saturday (from 12am to 6am in case you spend some extra time in the city), there is also a train station 15 mins walking.
In the neighborhood there is a local coles shop for all the grocery needs, that complex also have restaurants and takeaways.

Check in from 3pm unless earlier check in arranged prior.
Check out at 10am unless late check out arranged prior.
Guest will receive a front door key on arrival with a deposit of $10 refunded when you leave.
Laundry and dishwasher are available.

Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm & feel free to use the kitchen whenever just clean up after yourself as you go.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
