Our family lives in a 4 bedroom spacious house with plenty of open space living, on the North side of Brisbane. There is me, a female adult and one boy who live with me sometimes, when he is not with his father. Our home is less then 10 minutes walk to the bus station, 10 minutes walk to the train station, 3-5 minutes walk to two differnt corner shops (and one has a petrol station) and around 20 minutes walk to a major shopping center. There is a very large shopping centre with lots of shops within a 5 minutes drive or very short bus trip away to North Lakes' large chain of shops, restaurants, movies and everything else you might need. If you are into fitness, there are walking and biking paths, gyms a few minutes away and a park across the street.
Whatever you need, there it is and you can have it :-)
We have a very large and modern kitchen with gas stove, a dining room and a family room that the guests can use as a living room area for their use only, if they wish. There is provided a separate bathroom, TV with DVD and a fridge for guests use only.
There are 2 spacious bedrooms available in a private area of the house with their own shower and toilet to be shared solely by the those two rooms' guests.
The house is on elevated grounds with lovely gardens around in a small and new estate, very quiet and safe. There is a lovely 8 seats outdoor setting that our guests are welcome to use, as well as a new bicycle that they can borrow during their stay.

About the Area
Our house is located on the North side of Brisbane city in a quiet and safe suburb called Dakabin, which is a very high in demand area for families. This area is developing very fast and continuously expanding, with a Golf course nearby, parks, cinemas, lots of shops, new houses etc. We are 30 minutes away from the heart of Brisbane city and 30 minutes away from the Brisbane airport. Our house is located in a very quiet area, but just minutes away from all amenities and entertainment. Redcliffe and the ocean are 20 minutes away with great beaches, parks, markets and fitness classes by the beach. Sunshine coast is 30-40 minutes away and Bribie Island the same for surfing.
There are 3 cinemas, restaurants, cafes, bars and major shopping centers within short distance which I am happy to provide lifts to sometimes and we are also very close by public transport. Our house is only 15 minutes drive from the ocean and beaches with lovely parks and free use of the areas and BBQs along the beaches. There are lots of touristic attractions within short distance and there is easy access by public transport. I am also happy to provide some assistance with transport and touristic guidance if they need. You can visit Australia Zoo when here.

Very hospitable person who is very accommodating with late nights of early mornings. The house is set up for visitors with TV in room and guest use frige/freezer.

Enjoyed the friendly family atmosphere.
Our large room was very comfortable and I slept well.
We were close to Northlakes shops, train into Brisbane.
Straight through to Redcliffe Beach and Markets on Sunday.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
